I Have to Tell Myself

Tell myself oh well
Hi, how are you doing
Introduce us, then begin
Hours falling away
I own a pile of rust

Philosophically speaking-
Philosophical dust

We rest our heads in places
I had rest my head before
He the likewise
Wise all the same
Yet with all my watches
With all my clocks ticking away
Our times cannot collide

I wait for his words
Words I tell myself-
It's a crying shame
