Aces Always Guilt-Black

Dark dresses held above
Wine-splattered
Feet

Kings and queens
Strutting around their
Guillotines
With clad-iron shackles

Oops

They slip
Chains around the nobles' knees
As heads tumble
Off the white

And every joker is laughing
Because in solitaire
We play ourselves
With an ace up our sleeve

Temporary Last Time

It looks like urine

And it truly does
With its foamy gold

Yet it smells like water and
Tastes like mango tea
Which coincidentally,
It is

I never return the
Coin of conversation
To the fizzing
Vibrating
Pond

Can we just have
A normal talk without
Being angry?

Says the boy with
IED issues
And a pick-pocket heart

I speak for myself;
For myself in being pleasantly
Gloomy without a bottle of ink
(Good for writing, good for
Staining things)

You can't argue with someone
Who's auto-switch-assumption
Is that the people are
Water drops of fire
Waiting to climb into your skin

So he walks out like the last
And the last before the last
For a temporary
Last time

Society Mouth

One night my kidneys
Were acting up again
In the midst of my
Historically disappointed soul

I knew Jack the Ripper wasn't
So great after all
Being a simple Polish immigrant-
Nationality shouldn't change
A thing though

Society makes you one essence
Of another essence
Going so deep you
Crawl out with the umbilical cord
Swallowed down your tiny
Society mouth

All the people living
On such savory sweet nothing

But with Justin
I was no one's society mouth
Because when I was lying
In his small-ass bed
Shivering and rolling in the needles
Soft on my sides

He kept my imaginary cold
Warm
Asking for no one but the me
That is only
Love

Trying to forget that he
Accidentally threw his cat
On my bloody leg

Made In Correspondence

My cat, beside me takes up
Bed-space
And I say that although
It isn't true
Because it sounds better
Than sitting alone

A year or two of empty
Lunch table
Brown shit chairs
With cold legs
That stare back at you
Evil experience of your lunch-face

While me and my PMS Lucifer
Lay comfortably on the edge
Feet curled up on the wood holding
A lumpy mattress
I replaced the blood sheets with ones
Simply blue

I walk often despite the heat
And no one thinks
I'm crazy
Because I don't know anyone to think

But all the same I go back
And forth
To his house much more
White and plastered and cold
Without us

Thankfully that means
We have to be together
To sit for hours out of classes
Wandering worlds of video games
And endless words we want meaning from
And endless DVDs unfinished

Obsessing over Anakin Skywalker and
His new cat
For short we call
Pancake

Even she gets man-made material
Stuck in her paws
Every now and then
And it was once only a correspondence
